Founded in 1995, Custom Travel Solutions Inc. is an industry-leading and a financially stable Travel Management company which is locally owned and operated by Beth Gardner, President & CEO. As an organization, Custom Travel Solutions recognizes that our business revenue and sustainability are only the overall result of our genuine passion to truly exceed both the expectation of our clients and our staff by consistently thinking “outside the box”.  Beth began her travel career in Tuktoyaktuk with a large Oil & Gas company. She was the first travel agent outside of the airlines able to book flights directly with the airlines.  She managed weekly crew change check-in for the company’s 737 along with booking FLIFO for all crew change personnel.  Thus her passion for Logistics continues to this day.

Janna brings over 10 years of experience working as a Travel Manager and client of Custom Travel Solutions. She was responsible for managing a multi-million dollar global corporate travel program. Responsibilities included training employees on the Online Booking Tool, fostering relationships with key vendors, monitoring travel trends and ensuring compliance of corporate guidelines. Janna’s experience allows her to relate to the unique challenges a Travel Administrator may face, and approach those challenges with strategic problem solving, relationship building, and a solution-focused approach.

Senior Account Manager

Bree brings with her over 10 years of hotel management experience with a large Canadian hotel chain, primarily working in Revenue and Reservations Management, in addition to 2 years corporate travel administration experience working for a multi-million dollar global oil and gas company. Her variety of experience allows her to understand the unique needs of clients and assist clients to tailor travel programs to suit their company needs. Bree loves to analyse data, identify opportunities and implement strategies.

Account Manager

Adam is the newest member of the Account Management team at Custom Travel Solutions, however, he brings over 14 years’ experience in the travel industry. Adam started his career as a leisure agent and moved over to the corporate side of travel 10 years ago and has not looked back. Adam’s experience brings an extensive knowledge of all aspects of the travel industry to the table that perfectly leverages him to be able to manage all aspects of his clients travel programs.  Adam has a passion for delivering customer service excellence and loves working with his clients!

Sylvia Kerr

Sylvia Kerr

Manager, Projects & Implementations

Sylvia has been in the Travel Industry for over 20 years.   Having started in the industry as a travel consultant, she has applied her knowledge and experience to manage a corporate travel program for a large Canadian retailer, provide front line support as a TMC Operations Manager and assist clients with their travel programs as an Account Manager.  Sylvia’s current role utilizes this combined experience for client and technology implementations.

Brenda Damstrom

Manager, Custom I-Book

Brenda began her career in leisure travel, then took an opportunity in the corporate travel world and never looked back. With 35 years in the industry, she has worked in every aspect of a travel management company, from processing paper tickets to managing corporate travel departments. Brenda is a leading specialist in configuring online booking tools; she heads up our Custom I-Book Helpdesk team who in addition to configuring and maintaining customer sites, provides technical assistance to our travellers and travel arrangers utilizing our online booking tools. The I-Book Helpdesk team consistently receive praise from customers for their high level of service and support.

Barbara-Ruth Dolby

Barbara-Ruth has dedicated over 30 years to the corporate travel industry.  From her position in the Travel Section for the Department of National Defense in Europe to Owner and Director of Operations of 2 Canadian owned and operated Emergency/Afterhours Travel Companies, Barbara-Ruth demonstrates superb industry knowledge, a strong work ethic, along with an intuitive, analytical thought process.  As a highly valued and respected leader within the Custom Travel Solutions family and the corporate travel industry, Barbara-Ruth continues to be instrumental in delivering effective business solutions for internal and external clients.

Norine Reddekopp

Manager, Finance

Norine has been an integral part of the Custom Travel Solutions family since joining in January 2002. Along with her Finance responsibilities she also handles Payroll and HR.  Having worked in Oil & Gas early in her career, Norine brings an extensive wealth of knowledge as well as excellent analytical skills not only to the area of finance but to the overall success of Custom Travel Solutions.

Valerie Anderson

Manager, Training

Valerie brings over 30 years experience in the travel industry to her role as Training Manager at Custom Travel Solutions. She began with an adventure focus before moving to Corporate travel where she focused on training, travel related systems, overall company efficiency systems and processes. She is responsible for all aspects of training the Custom Travel Team, and is part of the implementation team who works to onboard new accounts. Her extensive Sabre knowledge including integration with the online booking tool and back office systems make her a key resource to clients and colleagues alike.

Corey Chenier

Manager, Business Development

Corey brings 8 years of experience from working in a variety of roles within the travel industry. As the leader of business development at Custom Travel, Corey is responsible for bringing domestic, transborder and global corporate travel programs on board. He engages with businesses to offer customized solutions using industry leading online booking technology, hybrid services, full service and onsite corporate travel programs. Corey works alongside the account management team to foster relationships with key vendors, assist new clients with monitoring travel trends and providing policy recommendations. He has superb industry knowledge, desire to support client needs and analytical approach to business development.
